Juneteenth historically is a Texas holiday. It's not relevant unless you are a Texan and more specifically a black Texan. Expecting the rest of the nation to care at all about a black Texan holiday that maybe has some symbolic meaning to a couple million people is kind of retarded. It's basically as important as some large comic book convention or some other nerdy thing that only a small fringe population pays attention to. Nobody cares if you celebrate it peacefully, but don't expect them to start celebrating it with you. Worse yet every year there is always news headlines of black people killing each other on Juneteenth and MLK day as well and in general acting like fools doing criminal shit so as time goes on it just accumulates a negative connotation of criminality and make black people look worse than they already did.

July 4th is whan the Declaration of Independence was signed. The country really was born on that day. Juneteenth is supposed to represent the day when Texas found out about the end to slavery,. It really happened but even in Texas it was never recognized as a holiday. It was manufactured by democrats to pander for the black vote which they were losing. Apparently making a fake holiday was not as good as America First policies.

Because there are a lot of racists who use the term DEI to push down minorities from succeeding. They feel like they are losing their place in the "hierarchy". They only want power.
