What middle class? The middle class in USA is already gone.

There are two groups of people in USA right now. The poor and the rich. If you are not in the top 1% then you are in the "poor" category. Congratulations, the top 1% has all your money.

The rich is broader than the 1 percent, although, yes, the middle class is diminishing rapidly and you will have the rich, the poor, and the extreme poverty. The poor will be the new middle class. The poor may still be able to barely afford shelter and a mode of transportation to a degree, but is pinching pennies every step of the way. Three meals a day would be a luxury. Good luck being able to afford children or other dependants. The extreme poverty are the ones who are homeless just inches from death's door.

We have seen the demise of the middle class for the last 20 years. Now it will just get worse. Instead of using the new technology to benefit everyone, only a select few will benefit and the rest will be screwed over.
American workers have never been more efficient yet they are working harder than ever just to stay afloat.

Yeah, in the Soviet Union, everyday people lived in dull, uniform high density housing with no ownership. Communism is the other extreme that deprives individuals of individualism and ownership.

There is a middle ground. You have two extremes, communism and hardcore capitalism.

In both extremes, when you have the controlling elite and then the peons with nothing in between, it is bad.

That is what they want. They want to charge you for the time being used, you'll never own anything anymore. What happens when you become disabled or work your entire life and cannot any longer? Do you just lose everything? Do you get evicted?
