Not a liberal democrat but this is a really stupid ruling. All it is doing is creating a bunch of chaos and encouraging abuse of power. For example, lets take the birthright citizenship. The only way for you to protect your current right to this 150+ year old ruling is to personally sue the government until a final ruling has been reached which could take years.

In other words, to protect each individual's right you would need to sue the government millions upon millions of times and you need to do this for every issue which will theoretically cause trillions of new lawsuits to completely ruin the very idea of a legal system. Even on a practical level this simply does not work and is really fucking stupid.

I guess that is why you like it though.

No it does not. It breaks the institution of law and undermines the constitution. That said, since it will only hurt Republican states its more of a "you" problem than a "us" problem so stay mad I guess.
