There have always been more than two options. Have you never voted?
The democripps and rebloodlicans have done everything in their power to suppress the other parties in order to create a two party oligarchy. But those parties are still permitted on the ballot, for now. Most voters wholly ignore those other candidates because the people in the US are more interested in being associated with the winner than actually doing what’s best for the country. The powers that be could wipe alternative parties and independents right off the ballot before the next major election and less than twelve percent of people, just like you, wouldn’t even notice. Let alone recognize the constitutional violation and the damage to the democratic process.

Obviously. In truth any system that does not make it reasonable for a new party to enter the political scene is not a democratic system.

That said USA also is not a democracy but a republic. But yes, there should be options.

After all if you can only choose between A or B, eventually A and B start doing the same corrupt things because there is no true accountability. After that you end up with something completely insane like legalized bribes called lobbying and more. Things so silly a child would be outraged at it.

We could try that but in other countries it makes it hard to get a consensus. However, the US has never been so divided. We have people with jobs VS the welfareclass. Unfortunately the welfare class has been allowed to grow so much that they can sway elections.
