Trending & News Do you think Boomers are worse than millenials or Gen Z? Or the other way around? And in what ways?

Younger.
Why? They have less faith in God and a biblical moral truth.
They are more hedonistic and degenerate. 1.4 women from 20 to 30 are doing OnlyFans. I mean, 60 years ago, a woman's life would have to fall apart for her to be a stripper and that would be in the seedy part of town. Now every girl thinks being a whore is totally fine. No moral code. No character.
Most western countries are facing a demographic nightmare because less and less women are choosing to have families and children. The population, culture and economy seem to be in for a collapse due to everyone dying off and not having kids to replace everyone. They've been deceived into believing jobs, travel, going to bars all the time is the priority of existence and that having a family isn't the key to contentment and fulfillment. They've totally abandoned the reason they exist. If they aren't going to have kids then it would be better if we were all men since men are actually the workers and builders, who build everything and maintain everything. Men still do all the work but the women abandon their biological role. What is their purpose if they aren't doing what they were designed for? They think the world needs all of these air conditioned office jobs they do. Like that builds anything, gets any fuel energy, produces food, repairs anythying. Society doesn't need that shit. Men can do that anyway.
The newer generation just gets more and more twisted. 20 years ago you didn't have people saying a man with a dick is really a woman and should be kicking the ass of girls on the sports teams and being in women's prisons. Open relationships are becoming more and more of a thing. 60 years ago the citizens weren't saying, I know let's get rid of the border and let 20 MILLION poor, non English speaking foreigners just invade the country and let's take tax payer money and pay for their healthcare and put them up in hotels and close schools to house immigrants and let's them vote. Let's accept them forming parallel societies in our country where they only speak their own language and follow the culture of their old country.
Yeah, the younger generations will basically destroy the entire country and culture and society with all of their deraigned, evil lunacy.
Morals have been worse in each generation after the boomers. Gen X had worse morals, millennials have MUCH worse morals, Gen z is split between close to half having terrible morals, and close to a 4th having much better morals, with some in-between. I'd say out of those 4 generations, millennials are likely the worst morally, and often the worst employees too. The worst thing about boomers is that they gave bad life advice to younger generations for many years about college, work, and relationships. (They are the ones that convinced people that getting a college degree was a guarantee to a better life, not telling people about the crushing debt. They also would tell women to focus on a career until their 30s when it was actually too late to get a good partner for an exclusive LTR.)
Gen X was often not cared about by society. They know they are on their own for most things and often don't rely on others because life has taught them not to trust people and that most people will screw you over if it is to their benefit.
They're all bad. Each has their particular glitch.
As a "Gen Y"er myself I can say the attitude that "everyone gets stickers" is absolutely true. I consider myself to be outside of the group because I grew up differently and was taught to have the values that people in decades before mine were taught to have.
Gen Z I think is by far the worst generation I've ever interacted with. Boomers still understand things and have more sensibility than today's generation of low intelligence youth and everything else you noted. They are disgusting.
"Capitalist mayhem" was around LONG before Baby Boomers, like from the moment the USA became a country. Granted, they were supposed to be the generation that "changed the world with love", but obviously THAT didn't happen! Too many of them fell for Reagan's bullshit, but that's another story.
Millennials and Gen X realized that something was way off with the "American work ethic" and didn't want to end up like their parents, slaving away for a dream that never gets realized. In that sense, they are correct, but the consequences are as you said, both far reaching and detrimental. Like boomers, they saw the problem and felt powerless with no answers.
Some Gen Z'ers are like boomers - they are angry about what's been left to them and want to change the world. But too many of them just don't give a fuck and want to "capitalize" on the easiest system for making money.
@loveslongnails True but in less plastic waves.
LOL... sort of, except for a lot of women, who are all "plastic"; plastic nails, fake eyelashes, botox lips, excessive tats, etc. Too much fake stuff!
"capitalist mayhem"..
So basically "Free Market" mayhem? Lol..
Millennials, Why because they're so materialistic they want all the brand new fancy cars huge mansions and blaming their financial situation on the boomers. When the boomers never told them to max out their credit cards or to get a loan on a fancy expensive car they can't manage to pay at the beginning of the month. Millennials are all about overconsumption. I get along better with boomers and Gen X. I have seen woman my own age married with children still wanting to act and dress like a high schooler and living with parents. Yes I feel ashamed of my own millennial generation. When I interact with people my own age it's always a weird ackward silenced. I have a good conversation with a 70 year old woman about gardening they will always give you good advice about life.

The younger generations are worse, by far. At least the boomers can claim ignorance. They didn’t know squat and still the country flourished.
All the information in the world at these young people’s fingertips and all they do is f*ck things up and b*tch when we don’t fix it for them. They’ve been handed way too much for too little investment on their part for their entire lives and the result is a nearly useless and overly entitled generation of deadbeats. No wonder they favor corrupted socialism. They can’t survive in a society that demands they pull their own weight.
That said, it was the older generations that coddled them too much for too long, thereby creating this mess.
Like with everything else, it also depends. No concrete right or wrong answer.
BUT for all those people blaming the younger generations (even if for rightful reasons), ever think that maybe the older generations did a shit job at raising the younger generations? Stupidity tends to come from somewhere. People normally aren't born stupid. And a lot of people are terrible parents.
The younger generations may be "dumber" in a more traditional sense due to having way less life experience. But older generations aren't as perfect as they like to believe either.
So all in all I'd say they're equally bad. Though leaning the older generations worse because they should know better. Kids, teens, and young adults have more of an excuse for being dumb. Middle aged and older people don't.
The younger generation, unfortunately, to put it bluntly, no home training whatsoever. Not a clue what accountability or character mean. And one of the most irritating traits they seem to have picked up is they can't spell to save their life. I'm talking about grown men and women. I remember learning proper grammar in the English language in about 4th grade and up. My learning skills stuck with me. I guess the younger generation figured they wouldn't need to retain their knowledge because their life is way too important. How's that working out for you now? Lol
"And if you aren't like them they think something is wrong with you." - this is almost as you're speaking about yourself here. 😅
Younger generation isn't like you, so there must be something wrong with them. They're so much worse than you could ever be.
@NordicInScandinavia For 34 you think like a 24 year-old. I would think you could better understand what is being said. The younger generation is not wrong because they aren't like me, but they think you're wrong if you're not like them or don't know all the unimportant things they know. I value character, actions, and intelligence in people. Not cannabis, GTA, Twitch, all the latest Netflix shows, or Mr. Beast. They care if you're not into those things. I don't.
Tbh neither.
The worst are those that point finger at the other - in all generations. If I have to pick: the older because, they should be wiser than the younger, and we're responsible for the next generations after us. If the younger generations are failing - then it is the fault of those before them.
You're right. You're so much better than the youngster and no one who comes after you will ever amount to as much.
Older generations for the win. The younger the generation gets the crappoer. They simply lazy no good for nothing. While the older generations. Oh my goodness the hardship they faced. No one in this world will ever experienced what they've had to do. They should all be worshiped for their hardship and hard work.
Happy now? Now we agree all.
@NordicInScandinavia I believe yours is one of the only rational answers to this question. ManOnFire appears to be more interested in inciting generational conflict than in acknowledging many other issues. I'm sure he believes the younger generation, particularly millennials, is also responsible for the 2008 financial catastrophe because, according to him, “You have older people who have tried to do everything right and teach the younger the right way, and yet the younger still choose to go the wrong way.”
@RageBabe You decided to jump in when you saw someone else try to have a go at me. You should be courageous enough to do that on your own if you don't like my question or viewpoint.
@nordicinscandinavia I'm not saying older generations are spotless or that allllll young people are the problem, but I am saying that younger generations more often than not want to blame the older ones for everything wrong and not want to take responsibility for their own lack of action, or poor action.
Have the older generations had a good life? Yes. Do they not understand the struggles of the younger generation today? They definitely do not. But what I'm talking about is character, values, intelligence, etc. between generational differences, not economic problems. Because outside of that the younger generation is still responsible for their own choices, whether or not their parents raised them right or wrong. It's the same thing as murder: just because you were abused growing up doesn't give you the right to go out into the world killing others. And no, I'm not going to "try to understand" it either.
@RageBabe People like him don't take into account the social changes, created by the past generations - that effect newer generations. It's easier to point the fingers at others, than have to adapt a bit yourself.
We humans change painfully slow. Past generations have always had a side eye towards the new ideas that come with the newer generations, this is nothing new and won't end anytime soon - I'm just personally to old to participate in this and find it kinda amusing that people my age (and older) do.
My parents are boomers. They beat the snot out of me for things I never did, and only because it “felt good” to blame someone else. They openly tell me to kill my self and then they get violent with me when I am angry at them for it. They had an abortion because having another baby was too “inconvenient” yet they vote anti abortion and claim anyone who kills babies are “evil whores”. They meanwhile complain how millennials (ie myself) lack work ethic despite me having the same job for nearly 20yrs and moving to middle management while they swapped jobs and got fired several times. The tell everyone they’re god fearing humble people while claiming others who disagree with them need to die
I’m done with the boomers. They can go to hell
I think all the generations definitely have their flaws.. The Baby Boomers and Millennials are particularly annoying for different reasons.. Baby boomers for acting like they didn't have one of the greatest economies and judging Millennials and early gen Z like it's the same.. And Millennials because they think they're so much more moral than the past..
younger., they cannot even write their names or make change. The baby boomers were the real Greatest Generation
@exitseven That sounds like a problem with the education system.
@AngryCarl2 The kids that were in high school during covid are the same kids I am trying to teach in college. It is sad to see what happened to these kids.
honestly I don't know
everything did start to go downhill because the Baby Boomers allowed it to
everything from feminism to the sexual revolution then to abortion then to marriage breakdowns then to fatherlessness then to kids growing up into SJWs who can't argue with logic but instead with violence as they protest for stupid shit like climate change by gluing themselves to roads and highways
those kids I'm referring to would be my generation the Zoomers whom are very split politically, men mostly being right-leaning and anti-feminist and women mostly being left-leaning and pro-feminist
Zoomer men at least had the red-pill to wake them up from the gynocentric society put upon us while Zoomer women continue to be baby deleting hoes
not all because there are still some good Christian girls and there are soyboy simps but those are a rarity amongst their respective genders
Right now the trophy goes to boomers. Mostly on account of the achievement of being the only generation in history to make their successors have less instead of more.
But its wrong to blame a generation for the choices of a few. Especially when it probably wasn't even them making those decisions. That's like pretending Gen Z is running the world now while most people that are, are baby boomers. And when they were younger it wasn't them running it.
That's easy. I go by the Bible. Each generation will get worse. Gen Z has an awful lot of traits aligned with the last one coming.
Whatver, dude.(Does your "Bible" tell you to hate POC?)
@dongie And they already abstaining from eating meats and not marrying. Happening before our very eyes.
@beefcakebradybatson That's not even necessary, dude. Did you also know that black Africans were believing the Bible ages before Europeans were? Don't give me that "white man's religion" stuff.
We're so protected, we're ALWAYS anti-Black racial hate victims.
I'll get hate for this, but Gen X is still the best Gen of them all. We can relate to all the generations before and after us. Take the good from each generation, deny the bad. Make life what we want out of it, and if the other generations don't like it , fuck em. We just don't care.
Older generations will say younger ones and younger generations will say older ones.
Nobody likes accountability for the shit their generation does, do they...
Truce? As part of Gen Z, I am more familiar with our shortcomings but Gen Alpha are too young to know better and learn from us, for now. The last thing we should be doing is creating rifts in the name of generations - there is no point in doing it whatsoever other than creating divide.
Oh, come on. No one is "worse than" the other. There are annoying aspects to every generation. Stupid trends, bad hair, goofy expectations, dumb experiments.
But the salient point is there is GOOD to every generation and we're moving forward the more we know about the world, each other and life!
Hard times create strong men
Strong men create good times
Good times create weak men
And weak men create hard times
The boomers created weak men
The weak men created hard times. The millennials. The hard times have not created strong men, this tiem. Only weaker "men" or lady boys. Its only going to get harder from here.
Younger. More than half of them don't know how to spell or use proper English, they know verry little about history, they think life is entirely encased in that gizmo they practically have surgically attached to the palm of their hand.
Boomers are the worst, they had nothing but golden oprutunities thier whole life and can't fathom that people today don't have the same oprutunities.
Millennials are almost as bad because they think everything should be given to them and they shouldn't have to work.
Definitely the younger generations by far!!
They don't want to work 🤷🏼♀️
The Silent Generation won World War Two, but expended tons of energy keeping us handsome Bradys away from their buxom blonde daughters. To me, they're hypocrites who believed only whites deserved democracy.
The Greatest Generation fought World War II. The Silent Generation fought largely in the Korean War. Depending on what schedule one goes by, The Silent Generation either begins in 1925, or 1928, or 1929. Then ends in either 1942 or 1945. I think my Grand Dad’s youngest brother was born in either 1923 or 1924 and flew in the final months of World War II as a P-51 Pilot. If going by the 1925 schedule then a few would have qualified for volunteer or conscription with the age of 21 being to 18 by wars beginning. If going by the 1928 or 1929 schedule none would have ‘legally’ qualified without parental consent for those 16 and 17 years of age.
Being lowered* to 18…
These young kids nowadays are quite daze and confused yet stubborn and disrespectful.
It's a mixture of all generations combined together ignoring the things that are detrimental to humanity as long as they feel something is going their way ignoring the atrocities that are currently unfolding right before their own eyes for example if it means more in their pockets they don't care if their neighbor or their children are being euthanized.
The Boomers, but they did deal with a war, so can't fault them too much.
The older the worst. They have oppressive moral views that are in fact not moral at all and take upon views that come from ignorance. If we lived by there standard we'd still be stoning people to death for being gay.
Younger is worse than older generations in every way. Because extramarital one-night stands, disrespect for elders, self-centeredness, selfishness, insincerity, and unnecessary consumerism are more common in Gen Z.
It depends on sorted things like with acceptance of people with tattoos and piercings older generations are worse but when it comes to having respect the younger generation is worse
Gen Z are some of the most narcissistic, delusional and entitled individuals I’ve ever come across.
I'm generation X, and I think every generation has both good and bad examples, as well as the neutral ones.
Older, selfish and incompetent idiots. Living paycheck to paycheck. How are you struggling financially in America in the fucking 70s and 80s? I'd be running circles around these clowns if I grew up then, I'd be rich. If they grew up today they'd be living on the streets.
i think the generations started getting shitty during the millennial generation. It only got worse since then
it's not a generational thing...
just bad people... and they usually beget each other through the generations as well, lol
As someone born on a line year. I think y'all suck regardless
Younger. The older generations are either dying or in pain from being older.
They're all just people trying to find their way in the world. Everyone has their problems. I think labelling people and dividing them is just another way to cause conflict.
Define "worse" All generations are different and that has probably been the case for many many years
Why does your chart start with 20 year generations (as it should); and then switch to 15 year generations (which is 3/4th of a generation)?
Bad in all and good in all
Are not from this generation , but the best time obvious the silent generation . NANO MAN.
I WISH I WAS
I am not from this generation. But the best generation is. the SILENT GENERATION 🤫 🙊
I think people who act ignorantly, are worse
Those older generations who say younger keep forgetting who is raising them.
Any generation who is egoist and has a dissense with the former generations is toxic
I don't know if one is worse but Boomers and Millennials are a pretty toxic combination.
Millenials and Gen Z are the worst.
Boomers. When they're all wiped off the planet this world will be a better place
Boomers are annoying af so older
Gosh, don't start a generational war. 😅
Both are annoying
I like anyone in theirs 30s basically
def older generations
People have always had evil throughout history.
F***ing boomers
😂😂🤣🤣🤣
@AngryCarl2 Aren't you one though?
@ManOnFire I identify as Generation X.
I’m not gonna judge anyone
Younger
Fuck boomers
older generations
Define 'worse'?
