The new Syrian "president" had strong known ties to Al-Qaida and even had a $10 million U. S. bounty on his head, but Trump met and had tea with him and agreed to lift the sanctions on Syria and re-establish trade with the country, now this guy is killing Christians (and Muslims too). If a Liberal did this Trump would be screaming for their arrest! I'm a moserate Conservstive, but I'm so fed up with Trump's hypocrisy and idiocy! He hated Assad, yet is working with THIS guy! Trump needs to be held accountable for his actions!

He hated Assad because of his proximity to Russia and Iran, not because of the war crimes he committed. This new regime is a puppet for Western interests. Politicians could care less about human rights, to them it's just a matter of "the enemy of my enemy is my ally". This has been the case with every president, and it doesn't justify it, but the whole system is to blame.

It seems to me that the real hypocrisy would be for Democrats to start suddenly caring about accountability. A border patrol agent was shot in the face Saturday by one of Biden's illegals. This wasn't any type of raid, the agent was off duty and walking in a park. The only way the left would care about this is if the shooter was put it alligator alcatraz. Then the left would cry foul and weep for the criminal.

You know, it helps to be able to view these comments in the context of articles where there is some organization. Throwing these two things together leaves out too much context for us to try to figure out what's going on. For example, "carpet bombing" who, when and where as well as why?

I honestly feel at this point he is doing everything he can to possibly off the citizens enough to want to revolt and protest with violence just so he can claim martial law and suspend the next election to keep himself in power longer.
