As we are finding out more of the horrible things that Obama has done, and what Trump is doing now (good and not so good), just how important is the man that can make or break our country?

Well. we had 4 years of Biden. we had 20 million illegal aliens adding at least 2 trillion dollars to the debt, killing thousands of Americans, and importing enough fentanyl to kill every person in Chicago.
The stock market tanked causing millions of citizens to lose value in their retirement accounts. Inflation caused prices to almost double in 4 years. We got entangled in a war between Ukraine and Russia that we literally had no business getting involves and we have had a continuing g failure of our public schools.
Fast forward 4 years and we have Donald Trump in the White house. In 6 months the southern border is secure and hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens have been deported with millions more to follow.
Ths stock market is at record levels and inflation has gone down from a supposed 9% to 2.4% and it will go down more. Gas prices are at its lowest since 2021. Trump passed the largest tax cut for the middle class ever.
President Trump is trying to get us out of Biden's war in Ukraine.
The contrast between the two administrations is just jaw dropping.

The President is the head of state, so unless the system is changed (which is highly unlikely). I think the President is very important for the country. We have the chance to vote for who we think would be best suited for the role, and the politics they'll implement, so I think the President would be assessed differently depending on who the people supported in the election.
