Why do East Asian women (Korean, Japanese, Chinese) and Indian women dress much more modestly compared to western women?

I've noticed that East Asian women and Indian women tend to dress modestly and not reveal much skin compared to Western women from USA Canada Europe Latin America. In Western beaches, many Westerners tend to wear more revealing swimsuits (men either wear trunks or speedos while women usually wear bikinis) while in East Asian beaches and Indian beaches, people usually go in fully clothed.

Even in the most conservative Western countries such as Russia and Poland, women are willing to wear more revealing clothes.

Christianity traditionally valued modesty yet Western countries are able to break from the mould of it. Why aren’t East Asian societies and Indian societies able to break away from their religious/traditional norms.

Korea and Japan known for being Westernized, so the Women there don't mind wearing a Bikini as far as I know. India have a lot of Muslims, so they wear their stupid Burkini.

East Asian countries: China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Mongolia, and Macao. India is in South Asia.

There are plenty of bikinis on Asian beaches but there are also a lot of fully clothed women swimming. One reason for this is that they don't want to tan and have darker skin. Another reason is there is a lot of body shaming in Asia if a woman isn't super skinny

I don't go to beaches much so I wouldn't know, but I have spent some time in that region of the world. Women in Asia at least in urban areas often wear crop tops and Indian women wear saris that bare a lot of their midriffs. I took a class in a study abroad program in India and the professor there wore a Sari exposing most of her belly. Not many female professors in the US would do that.
