In that small way, i do kind of vilify animals; no matter how hard i try to remain perfectly pragmatic.

No, you can no more vilify a shark for biting you than you can the rain for getting you wet. Animal behavior is down to genetics, they're obeying a line of code, an internal mathematic equation. A shark bites because enough boxes get ticked to say it's a potential meal, its better to bite and be wrong than let a meal escape.
Did you see the movie Arachnophobia? The main villain was a bird catcher spider. I'm not a fan of spiders big enough to catch a bird. The fangs, hairy face and beady 👁️ eyes don't help. I don't trust them. They're up to no good. They're always sneaking around. They're planning something, but I'm not sure what it is.
That sounds like a good description of the DEMOCRATIC COMMUNIST PARTY OF AMERICA
I do when they attack people and their own kind or even other animals for no reason. I think they should be arrested and put in jail just like humans

I cheer for the underdog as well. can you imagine being a dominant 14ft GW shark... and get taken out by a pod of orcas for your liver? what a hard life it is out there...
Nah, I don't vilify animals. But I do respect predators. They have no choice if they want to survive.
Animals do what they do. I accept them for what they are. I don't go ballistic on my dog when she kills moles, birds, squirrels, chipmunks, or rabbits. She's a predator, they're prey. That's just the way things are.
A coyote went up on my deck in broad daylight and killed one of my cats. I keep a shotgun handy in case I see it again.
I try not to attach human emotions to animals in the food chain in the wild kingdom.
No they're innocent
Definitely!
