How is Turkish culture different from Arab culture?

Arabs still have slaves, not so sure about Turkey.

Many Arabs see women as lower than dogs... they don't cover their dogs due to jealousy of other dog owners... but they do cover the women in some areas. not so sure about Turkey.

If a woman in Turkey wants to leave... dishonouring the man... she probably can. In arabia she will have head chopped off and the guy will get emotional support from his Mullah.

Turks may be more nominal in their religion and they can make good pizza. Arabs don't.

Most Western countries think these two nations are the same but while the majority of their people might share the same religion, I don’t believe most people in Turkey are as Muslim as they used to be. The atheist rate has surged recently and religion is lived through individual interpretations in a secular state. Arabs integrate religion into their way of governance. Their languages are different. Turkish women are more active in social life compared to Arabs and their clothing is identical to European styles with no difference. Arabs are more traditional and religiously adherent. Beyond that, music, cuisine, and family structures differ. There may be some shared elements due to religious influences but most things are distinct.

I also believe this it’s true that some cultures are superior or inferior to others. The Turkish people’s mindset and level of development are lagging and the biggest reason for this is the lack of quality education. Even the best universities in Turkey or Arab countries can’t rank in the top 300-500 globally according to Times Higher Education. Due to certain dogmatic mindsets, the country fails to achieve modernity or fully embrace an elite, developed segment. They can’t retain the top 1% of high quality individuals in the country.

Turks are Europeans, among them there are many atheists, progressive people, etc. Arabs are not. Turkish culture has roots from Central Asia, as well as admixtures from the rich Balkan countries

Language, culture, cuisine, hospitality, etc. Turkic people have more secular values, a secular government, more modern ideas on gender equality, for starters…. But there’s a ton of differences.

Turkish food is great. Cilingir Sofrasi with a little Lion's Milk for a slow paced evening with friends sampling a bunch of bite size foods. Great laid back social atmosphere. And Turks can be crazy funny to hang out with.

I've never been to Turkey so can only suggest Turkish culture will have greater European influence compared with Arab countries
