Who is ready for the Fall season to begin?

Halloween is in 2 months. Christmas is in 4 months. New Year's in 5 months! I'm so ready!

This year has been a shitshow like much of 2024 but I'm more hopeful for 2026.

I'm a cool / cold weather person. Fall runs in the rain on trails with the leaves changing color. Apple picking at an orchard about a mile from my house. Making fresh caramel apples coated with peanuts. Skiing Dec - Mar. SWEATER WEATHER! No ironing shirts, LOL. And a night out feels like a night out when the sun isn't setting at 8:30.

I've been ready for fall weather since winter ended. And this summer has been brutal again in New England. To top it off my central AC died and I had to go through 2 weeks of heat waves before it got replaced.

I am sooo ready for fall here in the Northeast.

After Labor Day I always feel like Dracula going back in his coffin. winters here are so fucking long and i hate the cold. If I could talk my wife into it I would have moved to Florida a long time ago.

It's so hot here though. I don't think you would say that if you endured 100 degrees almost everyday here in the south. The humidity is unbearable.

@Simslover92 I had basic training in San Antonio during the summer. I would rather put up with a little heat for a few weeks than the freezing cold for 6 or 7 months.

You must live near Canada because that's a really long time to deal with the freezing cold. I guess I can get you wanting to move to Florida then.

Yes and no. On one hand I'm sad that the year has gone by so quickly and we are getting closer and closer to it being done. But also I love the fall season, and a break in the heat would not be bad either

Im actually enjoying the summer. But I do like the fall. Being Catholic Halloween and Christmas are big events in my house. My husband is American so we have to do Thanksgiving
