Venezuelan Little League team denied entry into US amid Trump travel ban. Thoughts?

A Venezuelan Little League baseball team will not be allowed to participate in a championship tournament because the team was denied travel visas to the U. S.

Cacique Mara Little League team from Maracaibo, Venezuela will not participate in the Senior League Baseball World Series in South Carolina this year, despite qualifying for the tournament, after being unable to obtain visas.

Trump signed an executive order earlier this year banning all travel from 12 countries and restricting travel from seven others, including Venezuela. The order carved out an exception for athletes traveling to the U. S. for major sports competitions determined by Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Once you set a travel ban, you can't make exceptions. Biden banned 8 countries from flying into United states, and the left didn't bat and eye. Trump banned China because of the China flu, and the left said he was a racist.

As I understand it, they were allowed in.

But there have always been travel bans or restrictions from various countries. Nothing new there. The only thing that's new is the media freaking out when Trump does it, while everyone else goes unnoticed for doing the same thing.

When your President is a petty narcissist with a child like ego, he does petty, child like things. Trump has to maintain the façade that he's against "brutal" dictators like Venezuela's Maduro, which is ironic since he loves a lot of other dictators! LOL Denying the kids entry is Trump's way of sticking it to Maduro.
