USA revokes Columbian president's visa. Thoughts?

The State Department revoked Colombian socialist President Gustavo Petro’s visa, the agency announced on social media Friday night, accusing the South American leader of urging “soldiers to disobey orders and incite violence” in a New York rally.

“We will revoke Petro’s visa due to his reckless and incendiary actions,” the department wrote in a post on X.

Petro had called on American and Israeli troops not to sanction a genocide in Gaza, and called for a fighting force larger than that of the U. S. and Israel combined to come to the enclave’s aid, in front of a cheering New York City crowd on Friday.

It’s not the first clash between Trump and Petro. Less than one week into his second term in January, Trump threatened major consequences for Colombia after Petro turned away two flights loaded with Colombian deportees, announcing a 25 percent tariff on all imports, visa restrictions and a travel ban.

Trump claimed victory just hours later, when Petro relented on the return of the migrants, and the White House pulled back on its sanctions threat.

He actively called for a rebellion on American soil in public as the leader of a foreign nation saying the soldiers should refuse their governments orders and rise up. You can't do that and get away with it. Fuck him get him out and don't let him back in. Besides his government is dirty anyways and it's basically an entire government of drug dealers in Columbia so frankly I wouldn't want the POS here in the first place.

Hell, I'm down for kicking Venezuela shit in too. They're getting too chummy with China and they're basically a government of drug dealers too. As far as I'm concerned both nations are rouge countries with illegal governments, so war is fully justified. I'm against colonialism but I'm fine with making changes in management as long as we don't try and annex territory. Problem is I'm worried that's exactly what Trump is thinking with this though.

Pulling out of Afghanistan was a major fuck up on Trumps end too but now wanting to go back is an even worse idea. Keeping a war going when you're already there is one thing starting an entirely new conflict all over again after you already pulled out is verry different from pretty much every strategic angle. If we do this we're going to be stuck there for another 10 years and honestly at this point I think we're best off just doing air strikes and assassinating Taliban leaders.

I'm not saying open a state of war with Afghanistan but there are loopholes that can be made to bomb them every now and again and the CIA collaborating with Israeli intelligence have a pretty good shot at keeping those fuckers in line. I'm honestly pissed we pulled out. We should have finished the job. If it meant we had to be there for 509 years, it's still worth it if it keeps the Taliban out of power.
