Why does Trump not want to repatriate the man he unlawfully deported to El Salvador?

It certainly is not to protect anyone except perhaps himself. Trump and all government officials involved violated the man's civil rights by essentially kidnapping him, falsely imprisoning him, and denying him a hearing and due process when the Constitution clearly demanded these things. If the man comes back to the US, I think he is very likely to sue Trump and numerous government officials. In essence, the government committed crimes, and does not want to be held liable for them.

tRump's multiple mental illnesses will never allow him to admit any mistake. Especially when it becomes public knowledge. He has spent his entire life craving acceptance from people who laugh at him and despise him. He is constantly battling humiliation inside his damaged mind.

I am not saying that this is exactly how it started in Germany, but that is exactly how it started in Germany. Concentration camps weren't in Germany. They weren't officially started as killing camps. People were deported because they were deemed illegal under strange new rules. Most people weren't complaining because it wasn't them, and they started with those they could argue were already illegal under the old rules. WAKE UP!!! It's not too late for the majority.
