Seriously, why the fuck are they expected to give a damn or waste resources on fights that have zero direct impact on their own people? These leaders aren’t the presidents or kings of those foreign countries, so why should they risk their own citizens’ lives, money, and stability for someone else’s mess? And don’t give me the “global responsibility” nonsense—if Gaza or Ukraine were in America’s shoes, do you really think they’d drop everything to help? Hell no. So why the double standard? It’s time people stopped pretending that every leader owes their country’s power and resources to the entire world. Focus on your own people first.

I admit I am a little confused that this could even be a question. You baffled me. But it is always fair to ask.

Imagine if I murdered your neighbour. Why should you care? Why should we have law or police or any consequence? The aggrieved party is dead and I have not attacked anyone else.

War is someone murdering your neighbour a millions times over. It does not need to be your business just like not every criminal needs to be convicted. But the aggeression must be under control and subject to consequences. Otherwise society collapses.

In our world, other world leaders are the consequence. Just like the police, your own neighbours or just the chance people around you will take action are what keeps you safe from someone assaulting you, assuming anyone wanted to. But in a world without society a lot more people would be bullies, petty or major.

If and when major wars occur, a primary military objective is to control the oil. Oil is an indispensable resource in war. It is used to lay runways for airplanes, make explosives for bombs, to manufacture synthetic rubber for tires, in the manufacture of pharmaceutical and medical devices, it is refined into gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel for vehicles, used to manufacture lubricants to keep guns and machinery operational, etc. Thus it is imperative that American maintains a watchful eye on the region to either capture oil to make an effective contribution to military action or to deny the enemy access to oil to gain a definite military advantage in the event of a large scale wars. To do otherwise would be folly.
