@Twalli The people most affected by the outrageous crime in Washington DC, is by far the Germans who have nothing to do with it. Germany is roughly 5,000 miles away from America and they weep the hardest for the criminal population.

I think that governmental resources should be spent on a sensible variety of different things that overall benefit the largest possible chunk of the overall very huge and very diverse American population. So as an outsider looking in, it wouldn't make a lot of sense to blast all the budget on fighting the illegal immigration in the 3-4 states that struggle with that. Sure some resources should be spend on it but there sure are a bunch of other issues that need a part of the financial cake. That's the necessary nuance you need to understand anything.
