Western lifestyle, success or self-destruction?

People in the West show little emotion these days, and this may be very costly for future generations. Western society often focuses only on material things, which leads to depression and a sense of meaninglessness. But happiness doesn’t come from owning the most luxurious car. A car is just a car — as long as it takes you where you need to go, that’s enough. In truth, there is no such thing as the “best.” Snoop Dogg might be having the time of his life more than Einstein; he doesn’t care whether time is relative or not, because he is simply living in the moment. Science may explain the world, but it will never speak as loudly as our hearts. What we truly need is kindness, respect, and generosity. Each person is unique in their own way and deserves a caring environment.

How do you see this overwhelming situation? Do you believe we need a new kind of revolution to set things right?
