Trusting people too much

I was in Air Force ROTC in college. I planned on being a pilot. After freshmen year I was sent to Texas for basic training. There was an eye test i had to take that I did not pass. I was dropped from the program, lost my scholarship, had to dropout of college. It changed the whole trajectory of my life. I still get angry when I think about it.
