Should all countries have open borders or would it be better to check and see who's coming in first?

The definition of a country is borders. No control no country. No separation of good and bad ideas, no nation.
That would be insane. Those with open borders feel the pain quickly and for a long time.
I left a sanctuary city due to the fact that the school district was being flooded by "asylum seekers". The district was forced to hire bilingual teachers because the incoming students weren't fluent or even capable of speaking in English. My daughter's education would have suffered. Hell, I remember her kindergarten assessment where a bilingual assessor scored my daughter's English comprehension below standards because I had to translate the female assessors THICK foreign accent.
That was 10 years ago, since that day, the city's property values have tanked, property taxes have risen, and test scores have plummeted. The money the cities received from the state, was in no way enough to counteract the damage that was to come.
What if you had 30 kids and they all spoke a different language?
I wouldn't
I think America should have very secure borders with a robust vetting system. We don't need to be importing criminals into the country. But for countries that don't believe in secure borders, like European countries, I think they should be allowed to have open borders.
So you let people in your house even if you don't know who the hell they are?
Pussy
I'm looking at all the chaos caused by all these countries that just let the 3rd world flow in. Now they all have a self inflicted STD they have to fight to get rid of... metaphorically speaking that is.
Having open borders is like leaving all your doors open. If a country does not have secure borders it really is not a country.
Thats kind of a stupid question. Read a history book at the way the stronger tribes and countries have treated one another.
Should all houses and bedrooms have open doors?
Probably not.
Good answer!!
There's no point unless you're going to deregulate everything else
Nope.
