The gains I experienced during Trump's first term were felt by people all over the country. The middle class got the greatest benefit from the tax cuts ans wages rose faster than the rate of inflation across all demographics. If you did not benefit from any of it uou wete in thr minority.

@loveslongnails Trump just had Congress pass a bill that makes the middle class tax breaks permanent. As well as increasing the deduction on Social Security and eliminating tax on tips and overtime. He also increased the SALT deduction to $40,000. An elimination on the capital gains tax on home sales is coming. That will help the housing market and will be a Godsend for people in New York City who want to sell before Mamdami gets elcted mayor.

Costs for 2025 over 2024 from July to July were up at 11.3 %. They're going to surpass the "tax savings" projected for 2027, 14.9 %, before the middle of 2026!! Savings for wage earners over 50k-100k, and 100k-500k are already wiped out. Who cares about the rest, they can afford it.

So again, you've fallen for the ruse. By 2027, your tax breaks won't even COVER the increase in the cost of goods and services you'll be paying for. But wtf, that's the Trump playbook, and they know you'll fall for it, just like you are now. Oh, and the no tax on tips thing is a smoke screen too.
