Why don't we boycott pro sports because of their insane 50 million dollar salaries?

We can't pay for basic medical care in this nation, but for some reason we can pay someone 50 million dollars per year to play children's games. I think we should not only boycott pro sports, but they should be banned until all state and federal deficits are dealt with.

Defiantly the stadiums. Majority of it is tax payer money in the billions and the owners get to keep it then Sponsor it out the ass.

The idea its supposed to be a shelter for emergencies. so I get reimbursement if something happens but upfront and then reimbursement after is bullshit.

In terms of players though. the major leagues are just getting a fair percentage of the money closer to 50% of total money coming in for being the talent and driving force to watch.

What are you waiting for? Boycotting sports is easy for me because I can’t sit in a chair and watch other people do things.
I have nothing against people who enjoy sitting on their ass and worshiping other people doing things, but that’s just not me.
I predicted many years ago that computer gaming would become a professional sport. Now the top gamers can make between $30,000 and $1 million per year. It’s still all paid for by sponsors, but that’s just the way it is.

they get paid more because the company has less employees but makes money as big Wall Street company. So the give high salary to less employee.

I boycott most sports a because the athletes are such pampered pukes they could not stand for the national anthem. They live in a country where they can be multimillionaires for playing a kids game and yest they hate the country. Screw them and the spineless team owners.

It is because people are stupid. They would rather pay a huge amounts of money to something that gives them a temporary rush, over paying money to fix the real problems.

You can't pay for medical care because you don't tax BILLIONAIRES (not the admittedly multimillionaire superstar athletes) and huge firms anywhere nearly enough, not because these athletes, who are in the millionth percentile of excellence at their sport, are receiving the recompense their otherwordly talent merits.(At 72, I remember when even Hall Of Fame calibre athletes were forced to take off-season jobs because of impecunious salaries paid them by cheapskate team owners.)

We should boycott this nonsense. We have a 35 trillion dollar federal debt and we have no basic healthcare, or the healthcare we have is relatively poor.

The reason your Cable bill costs more than your electric bill is to pay for football players' salaries, and whether you watch them or not.
