Everyone’s saying minimum wagers CAN unionize…but not without threats of getting fired. Most states are “right to work” which means fck unions

Because unions tend to cost companies money. If you work minimum wage and join a union you’re now saying your worth more then minimum wage (which minimum wage workers aren’t worth more then minimum wage economically speaking). If those who make minimum wage unionized the boss would have no choice but to fire every single one of its employees and install robots, You want to get rid of all jobs in the United States go unionize.

No, I’m not against unions on the private sector unions help the auto industry for example. How much sector union by police unions teachers unions anything that government pays for not be allowed to unionize all public sector unions should be abolished.

Minimum wage workers can legally organize. The NLRA prohibits employers from intimidating or firing workers attempting to unionize but in reality, it happens. The less essential workers are to an employer, the less leverage they have. Minimum wage workers are generally expendable and the company lets them know that by making examples. They hire consultants to come in and circulate propaganda undermining the effort. It’s also difficult because low wage workers generally aren’t committed to the fight for a crappy job they don’t plan to stay at, even though a union would benefit them. This is why we need stronger labor laws and a higher minimum wage to cover non-union employees. My state just passed 5 days of paid leave each year for all non-union workers. I, as a union employee, have paid sick, personal and vacation time……and union workers have had these benefits (and others) for a long time.
