Im on the side of no, but I also have never been a fan of unions and I find them to be overdone and counter productive. I can argue that given what I've seen.

All I have to do is compare Honda to GM and it's an easy decision... no union is better!

Unions weild too much power to keep people in jobs that shouldn't be in those jobs.

However, I think there needs to be a counterbalance to the power and corruption (money) of corporations. In terms of safety and profit sharing for valued workers, has value.

No, the Constitution gives us the right to assemble. Besides if we never had unions people would still be working 6 or 7 days a week, Unions have lost ground over the last 40 years and really only the teachers union is the only one with any real influence. It will be a sad day when they dissappear completely.

I have been a member of two different unions. My experience is that the unions exist to serve the senior most members (say, top 10% of seniority), while the rest have to just endure. I do recognize that unions have done some good but it's far from a cure all.

Absolutely. The very same people who cry about the minimum wage being raised, are in unions. They LOVE their artificial pay raises that aren't based on merit.
