Unions are the best way to get a fair Share of profits. For sports ncaa students historically didn't get paid at all but all the coaches roll around in Rolexs on private jets while the players honestly don't have any money to eat at home. Then only 1% made professional and rest got rolled out of college, most without a degree focusing on sports. Only recently making money on images still penny's to every $100 everyone else is making.

Look at Eleo Musk is or was the richest robbing workers penny to $10 to a $1000 doing nothing meaningful. A union is work fairly to get a honest 10% to 15% worth your effort in making profits.

Unions coerce employers to increase wages, improve working conditions and complicate work rules. Unfortunately, they unnecessarily stir the pot to justify their compulsory dues. Its how they killed Detroit and are harming the Nissan, Toyota, BMW, Mercedes and VW plants near me. The work rules are the worst. Like making a laborer carry a box of screws when a mechanic can do it.
