I think athlete should be paid thier worth to thier sport and organization. The FACT is most WNBA teams operate at a loss. The women players many of them should be grateful they're paid at all. Now in my opinion if the best female basketball players are talented enough to play with the men, then let them get thier true worth and play with the men if they want. The REALITY is the WNBA is primarily just good PR for the NBA. It doesn't have a large male audience. And the women really don't support it either. Sorry these are just FACTS.

I dont think there is anything stopping them playing with the men other than they are no good enough. They tried giving a female kicker a football scholarship, she never played a single game and was drafted for the NFL.

Clearly a nonsense. Not all teams and not all players are equal and in particular not all sports generate are equally popular and generate equal amounts of revenue.

Cricket and baseball are both bat and ball games and are equal in that limited sense. So cricketers and baseball players should both be paid equally? In the US nobody watches cricket and in Australia nobody watches baseball. So it is clearly nonsense to argue cricket and baseball players should be plaid the same or that the one should cross subsidize the other.

In 2022 Naomi Osaka was no2 and Serena Williams was no 3 in terms of tennis earnings, Djocokvic was no 5, Nadal no 4.
Zizou Bergs does not earn the same as Serena Williams or Osaka, massive difference between them.

That's an individual sport like Golf. Each tournament pays different and they X amount depending on where they place.
Now they get extra money on sponsorships.
Team sports like Soccer, basketball, football, baseball, etc... that should be equal pay we're saying.

Commission is thing. I have gotten both salary and commission. And just got commission. But women are in same position as men it should be equal. Example: CFO and CBO in a company one male one female. Both been with company same amount of time. Both made competitive and help make it money, and etc. They both should make same or equal or +/- with in reason. But it doesn't happen.
US female team more popular than male team, but the males get paid more.
