Why did Charlie Kirk have such a large following?

We all know that Mr. Kirk has been killed. I would like to talk about his life.

At 18 years of age he started Turning Point, and in a few years it became a real force in American politics. His honesty and warmth captured the imagination of thousands of young people. Young people are idealistic and can smell insincerity a mile away. Charlie Kirk was the opposite of that. He spoke his mind and he let other people do the same. He was wise beyond his years and believed in the power of dialog.

It is a shame that democrats killed him. Thy could have learned lot from him.

I believe he's was shot because of the Republicans view of transgender people. Trump has publicly said several times that we need to get the transgenderr and WOKE people the hell out!!
So, he was speaking about transgenderisim at the time he was shot and killed from what I heard from the news stations.
It's been said that he was a straight shooter when speaking and spoke what his beliefs were about that.
Not everyone agreed with his beliefs and someone else today became the straight shooter.
Still, that's no reason to kill a person over. Perhaps Republicans like Trump should realize this and curtail his views so he doesn't set off anymore crazy people who take a. person's life from them because I am sure he's pissed off a lot of people by being so outspoken about this difference of opinion from people who hate hearing negative views about the transgender community.

Kirk was always calm and respectful, even when people were attacking him. He had a great mind for facts and figures. Allowing him to speak intelligently on almost any sociopolitical topic and back up his reasoning with relevant statistical data. He never resorted to strawman tactics or ad hominem attacks. He was grounded, reasonable, open minded, intelligent and he encouraged all of those qualities in others, even when they disagreed with him. Charlie and Dave Rubin famously debated each other on prominent issues before Dave found his way to the center. They worked together repeatedly, despite being on opposite sides of hot issues.
Charlie Kirk drew a large following because he was a good man. But a good man with a large following is the enemy of the modern left. And that’s why they killed him.

Our friend, Lacie, sent me a text about his death. In 2018, she was a Freshman at UCLA and saw him speak. There were threats of violence and riots at that time but she went anyway, just to see what all the hype was about. As a life long California girl, she found him very friendly, charming and funny. She didn't understand why he was hated then and doesn't understand why he was killed today.

I worked at a small private college 4 or 5 years ago. A conservative speaker was supposed to come to campus but there was a petition circulated around campus to not let him come and speak.
The campus administrators caved and did not let him come to speak.
That is why he was killed.
