The farmers in general deserve all the help they can, especially those trying desperately to compete with the industrial factory farms by big business.

Now, let us all admit the elephant in the room that this trade is never coming back. We see the numbers on the chart and it was in decline and now it is nothing. It is not coming back. No cargo imports from 2025-2026, it’s over.

Ask yourselves, what would you do? Probably would start diversifying crops , bringing in livestock perhaps , and integrating lots of markets to tap into instead of relying on one little soybean market which is losing steam and fast with no future.
The issue is, they don’t have the money to invest so they need The Federal Government to give them a little break. Just a little break.

I’ve always been an advocate for the little guy especially farmers who positively impact our lives everyday with good produce that feeds us and not to mention what they do for our economy too. These farmers in the midwest deserve a break with money to get them through the hard times. They deserve it.

Where do you think the discounts come from when you find a product like soybeans at a good price in your local supermarket? The supermarket chain your local supermarket belongs to will have negotiated a lower price with the farmer. You as a customer get the benefits of a lower price. The supermarket still maintains its margin, as does the company that transports the goods from farmer to warehouse stock. They won't lose out, but the farmer will.

They are fucked because they're part of a global economic machine they don't control. A 'socialist bail out' would be a government subsidy, which is still state capitalism, not real socialism. The tariffs are just the physical manifestation of a spiritual conflict. The economic problems of the West, including your farmers, are symptoms of a deeper spiritual crisis. As long as the West remains spiritually adrift and dominated by material interests, its economic problems will keep getting worse. The only way out is for the West to find its own spiritual centre, its own 'I'. Until then, they're just the first to suffer the collapse.

It's not all bad because it means soybeans prices will go down, a victory for poor and middle class American consumers. It is kind of like an inverse tariff because with tariffs, prices go up for the poor and middle class consumers.
