So let me get this straight... God, who created the entire Cosmos and is apparently still at it, has a particular spit of land that must be occupied by a particular group of people only. To accomplish this, millions of souls that God also created can, should and will be sacrificed by means of starvation, famine, forced displacement, war or some other kind of violent death, correct? Why?

I believe there's something bigger than us all, "God" for the sake of this discussion. But I sure don't believe that a power so great and wise that can create the entire Cosmos would be as cruel and petty as "your God".

That said, you do realize the vast majority of scholars and Bible experts do not ascribe to either Revelations or other parts of the Bible as being predictors of the future, particularly Revelations. But I do understand that you can accommodate anything in the Bible to fit one's narrative.

Well, I can't answer for God, but in the Bible, it does tell you that God will do that and one of the main reasons is because of sin. 2nd part of your question, yes I have to use my own discernment and ask God for direction. When people use the scribe and scholars' excuse to discount scripture , I chalk it up as this person was reading to read because the main people in sin we're the scholars and priest

And as expected, you designate anyone or anything who questions what is in the Bible, or where it came from, to be sinners or non-believers. That is typical. You DO realize that parts of the Bible were added by rulers, kings or men of power who cannot be shown to have ANY divine inspiration whatsoever? They were forgers. King James himself was known to be gay.

Everything in the Bible is not divinely inspired, just as everything divinely inspired is not in the Bible. Say what you will, but believing the truth of that statement does not diminish what IS true Biblically speaking, but rather, points out that not everything really is just because it's there.

It would make sense that Philistia would've been Palestine, or what the Romans called Palestina. The Philistines were Israel's enemy, which is why God sent Samson to crush them. They were not meant to have a foothold in Israel.
