What’s the worst crime you have ever been arrested for? What’s the worst crime you got away with?

Most of you know that i don’t normally allow anonymous contributions. Obviously this must be an exception! Most of you aren’t going to openly admit to crimes you might still be charged with. Be as frank as possible, i beseech you. I’ll start.
I r*ped a woman. Changed my whole life and i didn’t even get arrested, let alone charged. I was fortunate to be faced down by a woman who was neither confused nor afraid. We had a seriously uncomfortable conversation and, strangely enough, continued dating for a while after that. “Consent” took on a whole new meaning for me after that, and this is where it gets really weird. No woman i’ve ever been with in my entire lifetime asked me for informed consent, ever. So, yeah. I’m guilty of a horrible thing. So is literally EVERY woman who has ever touched me, EVER.
So, what’s the worst thing you have done?

I have never been arrested in my life as I learned a hard lesson when I was a kid. I don't drive except for my bike and as a pedestrian, I don't jaywalk. I pretty much follow ALL the rules and laws.

However, I perpetrated my worst crime when I was about 7 or 8.

When I was a kid, I stole one of those erasers that you put at the tip of a pencil from the corner store. My heart was beating like crazy because I knew I did something that was inappropriate.

By some mysterious coincidence, my father got wind of it and made me write an apology letter to the owner of the store. He came with me and while he waited in front of the store, I was obliged to go into the store and deliver the apology letter to the owner while waiting for his reaction.

I could have died of shame and once the shop owner read my apology letter, he had a tear in his eye but gave me a sermon about my dishonest behavior. Nevertheless, he told me I could keep the eraser...

That was my most shameful behavior and something I am not proud of.

Sex with my d*gs. A neighbor reported me. I denied all, they took them away from me an after a year the charges were dropped due to lack of evidence. A year later my neighbor was caught doing the same but there was evidence, she must have got curious seeing me do it. I think one time I hadn't the blinds closed right

I was arrested for a felony assault because my ex- and and said I beat her up. The police didn't believe her because she had no bruises or marks and it was just her word against mine and the district attorney didn't believe her for the same reason so no charges were ever filed and I actually never even went to court although my lawyer did. I spent exactly 4 hours in jail. The police were very kind to me and even bought me dinner while I was in jail.

Cops are usually very sympathetic to guys with marital issues. They know very well how you can get screwed over by the courts.

@exitseven They are sympathetic but arrest you anyway. If they don't, they get in trouble. If they arrest women for the same things they arrest men for, they get in trouble

Yes, and they are having a hard time finding people that want to be cops. They are getting a lot of people who never would be selected 20 years ago.

@msc545 me neither. I had been offered a job in a medium sized department. I knew the chief pretty well and he thought that i would make a good cop. I actually thought about it but ultimately went into the IT field.

I don't commit crimes nor have I have ever been to prison. My mom was a LEO for 25 years so she raised me to be a law abiding citizen. Plus, I never had the desire to commit crimes.
