What should I do if I get homeless?

So I was almost homeless once. I was just out of school, in a different city, me and my family weren't on good terms. I didn't have a job but, fortunately a friend let me sleep on his couch. I was only there for a few weeks. I got a new job and an apartment pretty fast.

So I'd check your social network, offer them something in return for helping you if they don't offer it first. If you have no one, look into local services. The church I went to growing up had a bunch of air mattresses and blankets and sheets. If anyone needed a place to stay they could stay in churches gymnasium.

Get to a library and look at available resources; food banks, church charity drives, shelters, locations of parks and other relatively safe places to sleep and rest. And for gods sake, get a weapon. Preferably something you can conceal and is sharp.

I was briefly in North America and thought if I was homeless I would immediately go somewhere warmer than the northern states. A Gloria Jeans had someone going around stopping the homeless sleeping. I guess they went there because it was warm.

Well, I’ll just deduce by logic that you don’t have family or friends nearby. Before that does happen, I’d use any means I had left to go to one of those options.
