In order to win a slander case you must prove that a false statement was made about you, that it was communicated to a third party, and that it caused you harm or damage to your reputation. Additionally, you need to show that the statement was made with at least negligence regarding its truthfulness. If it is written and published, it can also be libel.

So the answer is simply that Scump knows what's being said is true, and/or it's not financially worth it to pursue individuals because juries tend to side with them.

I did not hear that the DeSantis family donated the land, Still, the money he gets from suing the media is supposed to be used to have it built.
