20 years ago any ONE of Trump's actions would have blown him out of the race, so what happened? The R's tapped into hate and weaponized it. The true underbelly of much of the US population came to the surface; it's racist, it's homophobic, it's bullshit Christianity. That's why he gets away with doing anything at all.

Back 20-30 years ago, at the very least, you had to account for the "worst" of your shit if you were a politician. Now you can lie every day, ignore subpoenas, lie under oath, have sex with underage girls or boys, accept bribes from foreign governments, ad nauseum, and nothing at all happens. Until it does.

I expect some imbecilic Scumper will comment " yeah, that's the Democrats". All I can do is shake my head. They soooooo don't get the point or see what's happening.

Honestly I think most republicans want the emails released, after all they don't think Trump did anything wrong, but this isn't exactly a fair comparison.

Hillary created a second email server so she could secretly receive and send official state department emails with out Congressional oversight then deleted all of those emails before anyone could see them.

On the other hand with the Epstein emails. These were personal emails that may or may not have any crimes related to them that have already been looked at by the police. The trump admin is not arguing that the emails shouldn't be looked at by the police, it's that they shouldn't be able to be seen by the public. Back in 2016 most people weren't asking for the Hillary emails to be posted online, they were asking for the authorities to be able to look at them,

Republicans are hypocrites for sure, but it's best to understand the situation before calling someone out.
