How should poverty be calculated? Hasn't changed since 1963. Food has DROPPED but housing has SOARED? How would you weight these categories?

Are these estimates of costs reasonable? How would you classify the family: poor, middle, upper class?

It makes a big difference where you live. Many states are far less expensive. I live in one of the most expensive place in the country and I know people that live elsewhere that live for half what I m paying for many things like insurance, taxes, electricity and housing. I could well my house here and go to Florida and buy two houses and rent one out.

Oh stop feeling sorry for the rabble. The middle class is still clinging to their homes. I won’t be satisfied until we control their food and their shelter. Education needs to be eliminated along with healthcare. We need to get these slaves breeding faster. The dead won’t matter so much with surplus population growth.

The cost seem reasonable and at the bare minimum for a family of four so with all those expenses, it seems like you’re at the poverty level anyway and just making it but it also depends where you live in the country. The poverty level is probably $50,000 a year now
