Trump recently said on a live interview that a) gas prices are down and it's because of b) "drill, baby drill". Here's the facts: Gas prices are the same or up very slightly on average in the USA as a whole as they were in Jan. 2025 when he took office. $3.12 a gallon then, $3.14 a gallon now. But here's the big outright lie: Oil rigs were at 620 on Jan. 17, 2025. As of Dec. 1, they are at 584, a loss of 36 rigs.

Facts just don't really matter to this administration, or to maga's, do they? I mean, not at all. He's done this so many times, and his administration continues to do it about EVERYTHING and anything, that it's mind-numbing, which is what they want. Does it matter anymore at all to you cult folks?

Try to answer THAT question, and don't bring up any "but what abouts..." I am asking if his continuous lies mean ANYTHING at all to you?

This is wrong. Gas prices are the lowest they have been in 5 years. I do not know how many oil rigs there are but the fact is that if there is a few less than a year ago, this is temporary because the energy companies are now drilling new oil wells. Chevron is drilling several offshore rigs that will produce 75,000vbarrels of oil a day. Trump wants gas to be under 2 bucks a gallon again.

LOL You know, I hope gas does get to $2 a gallon and the average American saves $600 a year in gas. Meanwhile, electricity, natural gas, propane, FOOD, health insurance, every other kind of insurance, alcohol, wine and entertainment, COLLEGE and housing goes up 50%. Then someone shows you the math; that if gas doubled in price and all these other things stayed relatively the same, you'd be THOUSANDS of dollars ahead every year!

Gawd dude... "energy independence" doesn't mean you have no dependence on foreign oil. Do you even KNOW what it means? Ugh, ok... I'll tell you the simple definition... it means you PRODUCE more TOTAL energy than you USE. TOTAL energy, that includes everything! Coal, natural gas, oil... everything!

When Trump was in office the first time gas was $1.99 / gallon. I never thought I would ever see it again. We were enjoying the result of Trump's Drill Baby Drill policy.
Whan Biden was elected he cancelled the Keystone pipeline and cancelled oil leases on Govt land. Basically he declared war on the energy sector. Gas was over 5 bucks a gallon because of the shortage he caused and the uncertainty in the energy sector. Explin that

At one point during the Trump admin, the US lost 133 drilling rigs because of the deal Trump made with OPEC to decrease production by 9 %. OPEC laughed, took the deal, it caused gas prices to soar months later into Biden's term. If you want to understand what happened, go to YouTube and look up Mr. Global. Seriously, don't remain stupid about it. He'll explain it better than I will. ALL the upheaval in the oil industry at that time, was caused by Trump. OPEC laughed all the way to bank, and still does.

IF you READ the link I sent you in the last post, you will understand WHY the US can't possibly refine all of the oil it drills. If you would only fucking read something that will help your brain instead of regurgitating Fox.

Do you even KNOW what the Keystone is? It runs from Canada through Steele City, Nebraska where some of the oil gets refined. The rest goes to Port Arthur and Houston in Texas. It started in 2010. Obama was President. It transports the dirtiest fossil fuel, tar sands oil, which is the most costly to refine.

The XL was fraud with problems from day one. It was supposed to increase capacity but it ran into all kinds of opposition, from land owners, towns, cities, environment groups and the Indian population whose lands it would have traversed. So it got dumped. At best, 10% of the oil that was supposed to flow into Nebraska was to be used for gasoline in the USA. Don't believe me, look it up. But today, NO oil is used for that. None.

Biden did no such thing. You're whacked. The government leases he canceled in Alaska had been open for YEARS and guess what? NO OIL COMPANIES WANTED THEM!! That's right, dude. They surveyed, they tested, they didn't WANT the contracts. They were open for YEARS. Look it up!

I have to laugh when environmentalists go crazy when Trump opens Alaska to drilling because it's a joke... no oil companies are interested! There's no bidding frenzy going on, Exit. The leases get canceled because no one was there. LOL
