I've never fully understood the GM issue beyond "it's convenient to exert power and control". I favored disallowing it... but is there valid reasons for it? Been going on a long time all over. I recall others jacking with this in other states, and trust me when I say the democrats rule my area with an iron fist!. they all do it, and whomever is in power used it. It's a fight for power, not what is right and wrong.

I can affirm many in my area are fed up with the democrats... but they don't have the power over the media and systems to toss them out on their ears.

Im fine with Missouri choosing to restrain politicians... as it does seem an abuse of power. But, maybe there are good valid reasons for it.

As to whether people are disgusted in Missouri, I'll refrain from judging... can't read the article.

Some rational discussion would help our nation... there's no discussion I've seen that discusses the +/- and allows people to think. It's all just reactions to power... like a non shooting war. we can do better than that.

I get that, is a good review. But is there a legit reason for it beyond the political power?
I've seen parties using this since I was 20ish. "nothing new under the sun". in other words, "same ole crap".

No, I did not know that but I did know Missouri was known as the "Outlaw State." Not only did the Younger Brothers along with Frank and Jesses James hail from there along with many other outlaws but also a few femme fatales. 😊
