Nothing. Their most ardent supporters are counties with the biggest rates of obesity, opioids, crime and lack of jobs. Despite their rhetoric, Republicans never fix any of this.

What are the democrats running on? Sanctuary cities that can't handle the amount of illegals they let in. Cities like San Francisco that has businesses leaving the city because shoplifting and violent crime make it impossible to turn a profit and of course the reparations they are probably going to have to pay for. Or how about the exodus of working and middle class people from liberal Cities and states for red states.

Here's a fun fact for you. A commonly agreed analysis by economists, politicos, government analysts and data scientists, is that it takes about 2 years to see the results of most policy implementations by a given Congress or administration. It's similar to the inflation cycle.

When a Republican President follows a Democratic admin and things are good for a couple of years, like when Trump followed Obama, they praise themselves. But when a Democrat has to follow a Republican, like Biden did with Trump, whatever happens is the Dems fault. Given this example is exacerbated very much by Covid, it's still true.

The Dems had to clean up after Reagan and trickle down bullshit, and Obama had a Herculean job to clean up the economy after Bush and the market crash, the bullshit war and the unemployment rate. Obama's programs lowered unemployment among Blacks for 8 straight years, the last year being 2017, 3rd quarter. Trump then declared " Lowest black unemployment rate EVER. Blacks love me!" Technically true, but Obama's doing. And it lasted one quarter. By 2018, it rose again and stayed that way.

Biden inherited Trump's tax cuts, which were delayed until 2020 for the rest of Americans after two years of breaks in his admin. Your taxes going up now? YOUR BOY and the R's did that back in 2018, except for the top 3%. Trump did EVERYTHING he could to undue anything Obama did that was good. Now, Biden is cleaning up after Trump, and Covid is more responsible for the rise in prices WORLDWIDE that anything else, dude. But you believe what you want to, that's why you're a maga-head.

I am not a believer in the Federal governments ability to make life better for a reasonable amount of money. I see them as grossly inefficient and corrupt. The federal government was meant to be small. It was supposed to provide defense and little more. Its crazy big right now and is like an elephant in a house that just wrecks havoc. Its is clumsy and squashes things. Look at the Fema workers in Hawaii staying in $1,000 hotel rooms. There are cheaper rooms, $265 as someone found online out there. PPP was and is a massive giveaway and corrupt. The debt bomb will really hurt when we can finally not borrow anymore. Obama said the debt was a problem back when it was $8 trillion, now its what $34 trillion… and there is no end in sight. The biggest problem is our leaders don’t care about the country. Biden os certainly corrupt from what has come out and there is likely more to come out. Even Obama was caught selling 10 feet of his lawn for $300k in the beginning… he has learned how not to get caught now. They all have houses worth many millions. We need less government as it was originally intended. Its easy to corrupt people by spreading a couple hundred million around as bribes and the controlling the most powerful country.

We will have to face the fact that we will come to a day when we cannot pay the debt. Its a mathematical certainty. We either get in front of it and pay down the debt to a reasonable level or force default early and trigger an effort to take the necessary steps to recover which would be easier than if we wait until we are truly bankrupt. Our situation would be like you have 10 times the debt as your annual income AND still borrowing heavily. Catastrophic.
