not a fair poll is it. In no way is it an A.
It is definitely rough out there, food prices are high in some areas. I'll say C+.. as there's fewer jobs that pay well enough... but caveat... people that make good decisions and have support, are doing very well. Others are like cats with claws extended sliding down a metal wall into the abyss.
I think it's been bad for a while though, masked before by money printing... all of this has been baking a while. Inflation took off last time around. The tariffs are a shock to the system and take time to adjust. The issue I see is debt, and bad choices by individuals. Eggs are down, milk is about the same, gas about the same... blah blah... but fruits/veg are up in some areas.
I see many job openings in the area... but doubt many are qualified for them. The low end jobs are fewer... as businesses fail. They fail due to policy and taxes and min wage I suspect more often than other reasons. I see people wasting money. I see young people starting out having a very hard time paying the bills and getting their education and good jobs. They want, but get stuck in the mud. it's not all the fault of the guy at the top or the fed.
We need better support programs to get people "healthy"... financially, physically, emotionally... and as parents. That will pay huge dividends.
MGGA - Make GAG great again by listening rather than reacting...
It's 100% fair. Trump called it A+++++. I have only 7 poll options allotted to me. On the Trump scale, there are at least 7 grades between A+++++ and B, never mind C+.
I will always be OK in whatever economy, because I am bright. But most MAGA dunderheads will suffer. This is their fault for voting for a tariff clown.
FWW, the MAGA I know are doing fantastic! It's those taht vote democrat stuck in democrat areas , and system, that are in bad place... that I see. currently cared for by the govt.
Bullshit. I am filthy rich and never voted for dirty ass Trump. And I didn't inherit my wealth, nor do I get paid a fair wage (I work for MAGA thieves). But I am a savvy investor who only works due to boredom and I am not an addict like all the MAGA shitheads who Trump tries to protect with his nanny state tactics. Blowing up every boat he sees because his redneck bigot base can't resist illegal drugs. Pathetic.
It's fact. there are decent democrats. can only tell you what I see around. even some democrats are doing very well.
you need to get out of your bubble and go meet some other people. the biggest thing they will complain about, is the high taxation.
if you are filthy rich, congratulations, do let us know what charity you setup to share your wealth and how you are giving back to society... as so many of the MAGA I know do... as do democrats.
I give to St. Jude every month and have been doing it for years. I am a charitable, sexy genius.
The US economy? It's a shit show for 99% of the population.
This is how bloody revolutions start and class warfare becomes torches and pitchfork reality.
Only good for the rich. The poor are the ones who suffer the most. The cost of everything is rising.
Just curious. What does the F stand for? F ire tr ucked

F. And this for his foolish claims that he would fix everything day one which, lets be honest, if you believed all the rubbish he spewed about what he would fix day one you should be considering a cognitive assessment, M'kay? He actually believes he can lie about things that can't be gotten away with lying about. It's in everyones face every time they go to the store, and while I despise Trumplethinskin, Mr. Biden and the D's made the same mistake. Ya can't tell people we're in the best economy ever when their wallets tell them differently
Aren't the Democrats over there usually just better, lol. At managing the economy. 💙 🔵 Blue hearts y'all - I love you Democrats. Anyways I'm not American.
I'm pretty sure there's that famous 2004 quote about "it just seems like the economy..." Cough does better under the Democrats" - cough
I added my cough's
The DJT interview with Wolf in '04
So I know how I voted in your poll. I'm not American so anyways, Americans do what America does. I for one am hopeful though the blue party aka the democratic party wins the next 2028 or 2032 - eventually - "cause the economy"
As a geopolitical analyst, I can see all the PhDs answering down below, but at best, I'd say a solid B. The tariff impact wasn't as apocalyptic as many thought it would be, but we do have a looming debt crisis, wealth gap, and manufacturing crisis as well.
What no one really talks about are the enormous forces that led us to this point ranging all the way back to 1991 and the patterns we're seeing with Biden, Trump, Left vs Right, etc are unfortunately playing out as expected if one analyzes the rise and fall of empires over the past 500 years.
... I'd stay away from 95% of all US media if I were you.
When rating the economy, never ask how the top 30% of wage earners are doing, because they're doing fine. Ask yourself how the bottom 30% are managing in the least expensive 25 cities to live in around the US. If they aren't able to go at least 3 months without a paycheck, the economy sucks.
Through November 2025, U. S. employers announced over 1.1 million job cuts, which represents a 54% increase from the same period in 2024. This places 2025 among only a handful of years since 1993 in which announced layoffs have topped 1.1 million.
So much for making America great again..
Itβs getting worse and worse.

@DryGermanGuy yup. Ask the farmers.
Other than government employees, farmers and manufacturing, which has been in decline for the last 9 months, the economy seems somewhat resilient. However, Trump keeps delaying the October job, inflation and GDP reports and knowing Trump, if those numbers were good he would be in front of a microphone and patting himself on the back.
I have read it goes 2 ways.
Prices are still high and groceries are up. I mean you easily buy foods that cost less. Lote of eggs, oatmeal, bags of apples and oranges, tuna bread and stuff of the in store brand.
If you buy a bunch of name brand stuff and cokes... etc. prices can go way up.
The point is, people living check to check still have to budget.
The investor class is doing well. My investments had 18% gains. Wow, my portfolio grew.
I think it's doing pretty good. There have been several times in my life that were a lot worse, and not many that were better.
Is it because of Trump? No. In most cases the president has very little to do with the economy.
Except that the current fucknut is a tariff clown. π€‘ πΈ
If he's a clown, then I assume you think the large majority of other world leaders and governments are clowns since they've typically had much higher tariffs than the US.
If you are one of those people who think tariffs increase prices, you'd be wrong. The increase in price is barely significant. In the vast majority of cases you'd never even know the difference.
Lol!
Shitty has it always has been. Harris voters were foolish for believing the Biden administration was doing good and Trump voters were foolish for believing Trump would fix the already shitty economy, economy was shitty under Biden and still shitty under Trump. Economy will continue to be shitty till the government can no longer sustain it's ballooning debt and collapses.
Silence is not golden.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/U4YSo_zzD5oBased on Stock Market Volume and gains, the USA economy is the strongest it has ever been in recorded history.
Lol!
LOL.. I voted A+++++++ (Not enough pluses)
If we are going to fantasize, why stop at a few plus marks?
A+millionPlus!!!
It's gone to shit with Don the Con. Don the Con has ran America into the ground.
I think it's dogshit going toward totally fkd.
Both parties did it.
As Dr. King noted, socialism for the rich, rugged individualism for everyone else
I have noticed it got improved in some places but I haven't seen it get better overall.
It is going down the tubes... Thanks to YOU KNOW WHO
One of the worst places to live.
@petitedollbabee seemed friendlier under Obama/Biden.
Remember the good days of sitcoms on standard HD TV. That's America at it's finest. Filmed in California as always. Lol π
@petitedollbabee. And under Clinton, there were the glory years of Nicktoons, Disney and Cartoon Network from '93 to Jan 01'
@supercutebutt F++++
Far better than under Obama and Biden.
Lol!
Very good and getting better
Lol!
Could use another recession to be honest
