If you are going to start whining about election fraud or illegal immigrants voting or garbage like that, don't. I am going to delete any answers that mention those things since there is no proof for election fraud. There is also no proof that illegal aliens vote.

Elections for president was never meant to happen in the first place. So start by getting rid of the damn presidential elections in the US.

Then reduce the hell put of the federal government, and put the power back into the hands of the states where it belongs. There is so much focus on the federal nonsense, that people don't pay attention to what's happening in their own back yards.

I bet most Americans can't even name their state representative, even though their state rep has far more impact on their lives than the US president.

Instead of voting on all that far-away crap in DC, vote on local issues that you actually know about, understand and makes a real impact on your life.

Of course they were meant to happen. Did you think George Washington was just a figurehead or something? He was our first president and he did some important things while holding that office. Since that time, presidents have always led the country. Some good, some bad, but none as bad as Trump.

I think you are being terribly optimistic regarding the 2026 midterms. Trump is not going to let these happen. He is going to cancel them due to a fictitious "national security issue" or he will rig them to the point that they are meaningless. He's not going to give up power based on an election. And if he has to cancel the election, he will do that, regardless of the potential consequences. I know that you are in Germany, and therefore it's safe from this. And I envy you for that. But with all due respect, I don't think you have a clear grasp of exactly how dangerous this situation is and how crazy and dangerous this man is. He is our answer to Adolf Hitler, and it's not a good answer.

I watch David Pakman, Brian Cohen and Ben Meiselas every day, I’m pretty confident to be better informed than the average Joe Sixpack. Trump is deranged and nefarious but he’s almost 80 years old and losing his grip on the GOP. Many are at least covertly preparing for a post-Trump America.

Too many liberal judges interfering with the will of the people is a problem but so far Trump has managed to overturn most of their anti American rulings. It looks like they are ruling in favor of the President having the authority to rule over federal agencies like the FTC. The reasoning behind this is very similar to the argument to end birthright citizenship so hopefully they will rule in Trumps favor for that as well.
