What's an absurd subject you took up in your college days?

Art History. It is completely irrelevant to 99.99% of life, but something related to art or music was required, and this was the only "factual" class offered (it wasn't remotely factual. Idiot teacher even disagreed with the rest of the world on some things...)

Calculus III. As a biology major I only needed through Calculus II; but I finished that in my sophomore year. So, missing math classes, I decided to take it in my senior year.
