A third term for Trump... no Due Process for illegals... Emoluments Clause shat all over by their president. All unconstitutional. Illegal. And they dont care.
By illegals, do you mean the mass amount of people entering our country without permission? Pretty sure due process doesn't apply to people illegal entering our country. Part of his job is protecting our borders. That includes removing people that make it across illegally.
After checking what the Emoluments clause is, I first have to ask, has any president in the last century followed this clause? If not, then why care now?
As for a 3rd term, that's not part of the constitution. At least, not the original constitution. That was added later because certain people where unhappy that the COUNTRY decided to elect the same man for 4 terms. I have a better question, if the majority of the country wants someone to be president, why should we make a rule that says they can't be president?
Overall, my last question on the second part is the biggest reason. Both sides are constantly ignoring the constitution. Why only when it benefits us to continue ignoring it, does it now matter that we follow it?

You're right (kind of). I shouldn't have said it doesn't apply. Instead, I should have said they DO get their due process. Due process is the process that is fair given the circumstances. If someone a cop respond to a call and someone has a gun and is threatening to kill, the cops asking him to drop his gun and surrender is that man's due process before the cops open fire. The due process for illegals in the country is making sure they are not either actually citizens, or here legally. They DO have their due process.

Yes, they were. Specifically, President Carter was forced to sell his family farm in case his actions as president affected the price of peanuts.

7 moagree they should follow the law, it be better for the next election. but laws are annoying and cause things to slow down when got to get things done. That's why you speed every day to work, violating the law, hoping you won't get caught... justifying your excuse when you do, bitching about it and blaming someone else when get a ticket. Eventually, there is no law but what is enforced.
been like that for decades... erosion...
courts are reviewing cases, K. O. is back and won cases, some of the system is still functioning. but those at the top are stretching every law... as time is of the essence now with 40T of debt... or is it 100T? Noone knows because military hasn't passed an audit... ever. When tghe Prez says "we are in big trouble", should probably listen.
Airplane gift... boeing delayed plane again... Im staying out of this one. just get congress approval..
Remember we are not even 1 year into this term. Got a long wys to go. By the time AOC is president, AI will be fully deployed robots and we will be living Terminator.5, judgement day... if we make it that far.
Life is a day to day thing at this point, isn't it?

7 moThe people who are currently calling themselves Republicans have always hated the Constitution. They have always hated the federal "Yankee" govamint. They are still clinging to the myth of the Confederate "Lost Cause".
They only recited (specific sentences of) the Constitution when it served their purpose. Notably the 1st and 2nd amendments. The rest of the document they despised as govamint overreach because that's what their corrupt bullshit religion and the propaganda of the 1% trained them to do. And it worked like a charm. It turns out stupid people are really easy to manipulate.

7 moKeep in mind that the Mango Mussolini is merely the puppet of the P-2025 authors. Soon he'll be gone and replaced Darth "Vapid" Vance. Trump will not finish this term.
Vapid Vance hates any law that prevents his ilk from doing whatever they want to do, and celebrates the greatness of the system when the courts decide in his favor. It really doesn't matter if it's local, state, or federal law, OR the Constitution itself. They view the whole thing as "suggestions".
So why do they hate it? Because it's an inconvenience when it says something they don't like or want.

You know, like how the Republicans paint someone accused of defrauding a bank of $50 a month by claiming a house wouldn't be rented out (never mind that a family member lived there rent-free), while ignoring the two properties in Florida that Trump bought and rented out while lying on his mortgage applications.

27.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Trump has said many time she will not seek a third term. He just likes to mess with the moonbats. Illegal aliens get due process. It is just not the same due process that the democrats want which was a jury trial for each illegal alien with an appeal.
Trump will be considered the most pro constitution president in 100 years. This book tells the real story.

You need to do some reading. Everyone, especially in the United States, who is under the jurisdiction of the US, is entitled to due process by law. I know you don't like this; it upsets you, you don't think it's warranted for some people (especially non-white people), and you'd like to pick and choose who gets it and who doesn't. But you can't. Even right-wing courts have said you can't. Get over it.

19 Reply- 7 mo
I don't know the exact location no. But that's irrelevant if you don't know what due process is.
- 7 mo
You obviously don't know what due process is.
Read it carefully.
"without due process of law"
It means the laws and rules are followed, whatever those laws may be. If the law does not require a court trial, then neither does due process. If the law does not require a warrant, then neither does due process. Etc
The law does NOT require a trial to deport illegals. Therefore a trial is not required to deport them.
Just like the law does not require a trial for a speeding ticket in many states.
Don't confuse being prosecuted for a serious crime with simply being deported. Prosecution for a serious crime DOES require a trial. That is due process for THAT situation. A speeding ticket does NOT require a trial, so that is due process for THAT situation.
The Supreme Court has made this clear.
Illegals have NO right to a trial before being deported, just like legal US citizens have no right to a trial for a speeding ticket. - 6 mo

Correct. But they are not being deprived of due process of law. I assume you are thinking that due process means a trial. That's not what it means.
