Should “street demons” have their own neighborhoods?

Most of us have probably awoken to overly loud pipes on cars or motorcycles. Some have certainly seen street racers, and others have seen them take over the road entirely. Actually, “street takeovers” are newsworthy now. Locals often complain about under-enforcement or a complete lack thereof. So maybe street demons should have entire neighborhoods to themselves. They can keep each other awake, as opposed to the responsible, productive citizens they f*ck with just for fun.
What are your thoughts on this matter? Should street demons have their own neighborhoods?

They already do... I think they are called race tracks. Rat racing on streets is a waste of time... take it to a track.

@Spencer10 There is a difference in necessary skill between racing in traffic and racing on a track. I'm saying this as someone who would die in a fiery crash the first time he attempted to get into street racing.

Now... This isn't to say there should be no responsibility for those who damage any private property during street racing, including other cars. You couldn't take this turn without bumping into the parked car? Skill issue, now pay up.

No, the cops should arrest them. It is a public safety hazard. At least when there were street racing when I was a kid, nobody got killed.

This phenomenon would last about 10 minutes in Singapore. I'm embarrassed as an American to say this actually happens here.
