Why do the genders treat their own worse than the opposite sex?

Men take the piss out of each other more in a direct way BUT once they've got a bond with you they're in your corner when shit comes calling, I reckon women are only like that to their kids or relatives but probably not always to their man

I really don't understand the reason of putting a person down. Maybe men and women do that because they feel threatened or are plain jealous.

It’s often about boosting their own ego or worse trying to impress the opposite gender.

Personally I get turned off fast if I observe a woman gossiping and trashing another woman for unacceptable reasons. Even if I initially found the woman attractive I quickly lose respect / interest for her if she’s belittling another woman who never did anything directly to harm her.

But I also truly believe many women especially young women mistake a man trashing another man as “dominance” when it’s really masked insecurity.

Dominance is when a man justifiably calls out another man on his bullshit. Dominance is when a man stands up for a weaker man or woman who is being bullied / attacked. Even when it’s hard to do so.

But dominance is not trying to bully or humiliate another man just to impress women. But a lot of women especially young women fall for that bs.
