Very interesting list! I'm concerned about the American auto industry. The prices are way too high especially considering that reliability is falling. The CVT's and small turbo engines that pump their little guts out are the start of bad times in the industry. I wish I could bring a new, 1985 Chrysler Laser through time, up to the present. It might not have been the most reliable, but we can't always choose who, or what, we love.😍

you are right about the cars, when honda and toyota recall engines, it's bad.
maybe with them discarding e cars, or legal changes, they will go back to sanity. but I doubt it... it's planned obsolescence gone whacko.

@lightbulb27 Toyota has been the king of reliability, but the '80's and '90's Chrysler group cars had a lot of character. I rented a Corolla back in 2004 and it was very disappointing. My first gen Neon coupe and Dodge Shadow, both stick-shift, were the best cars I've ever owned. Of course, just my opinion.

I agree with the Silver prediction. But only after a major pull back that will shake out those that don’t understand precious metals. A pullback of 35/50%. Then off to the races.
