There have been female architects and inventors. There have even been female leaders and powerful rulers throughout history.
Plus, it has been said that "behind every great man is a great woman", which has been very true in some cases. Women provide comfort, inspiration, and often have great ideas/suggestions. The fact is, women are as smart as men.

The problem was, most women were excluded from anything but child rearing, home making and sex for most of history. Few women were allowed to be educated and they were excluded from universities.
Men even took credit for women's inventions and scientific discoveries. But women's contributions to civilization and human knowledge have been enormous.

It's true that, due to their size, strength and stamina, men do all the heavy labor. They worked in mines, farms, steel mills, built houses, barns, fences, canals, bridges and skyscrapers. But women in the past did brutally hard work, too. It's not like most women had the luxury of being pampered house wifeys.

Women excel at aesthetics. They add touches that would not occur to men. Think what a woman touch does for a home - curtains, carpets, flowers, beautiful objects, organization.

Today, in western countries, women can do anything that doesn't require raw strength.
