I guess they are called "cultural centers" or "art districts". You know, those gentrified parts of a city where murals are painted on the old brick walls?

If leftists "support" the common person and the unfortunate, how come they favor places that overcharge you for small portions of food and a bottle/carton of water? These are the same places that don't give you refills on drinks and drain your money for giving you a false sense of being "elite". It is sort of contradictory.

Because they live in a fantasy world of virtue signaling. They do it because they are cowards and want to try to make it appear that they are so morally superior to others so that they are above criticism. They have inferiority complexes and are terrified of criticism and are completely self-unaware. So they fake being so moral and compassionate to ward off criticism when in fact when it comes to ideology their actions are oppressive, vindictive, discriminatory, uncompassionate, authoritarian, racist and evil: just the opposite of the little virtue signaling games they play.
