Since he is a federal officer, the federal DoJ will determine if a crime may have been committed, not the state AG. If yes, he will be tried at the federal level, and most likely be found not guilty. It's unlikely that the state would then charge him because that would be double jeopardy, which is protected by the US Constitution. I've also heard some experts say that, because teh investigation is being done by the feds (FBI most notably), the state would have a hard time trying him because the state would have no evidence, and the feds would not be "available" to testify and provide information.

Bottom line. It's a sad event that will likely result in no punishment for the federal officer.

It's not murder in this state. In the state of MN its our responsibility to remove ourselves from conflict. Since she clearly chose to engage in the conflict by obstructing justice, she is in violation of MN law. As are all the other insurrectionists. If the MN justice system actually knew the law, they would be arresting all the people engaging in violence against law enforcement.

While it's true she has the obligation to flee from a perceived threat, the officer also has a right to defend himself. He was in fear for his life and has the right to respond with deadly force.

It's interesting to note the ICE should probably not have been on the line... they had been in a prior conflict and were dragged and injured and went to hospital.
