That’s the irony of being “woke”. They literally have an ideological aversion to the truth. He IS racist because he can too quickly suggest that white people who do bad things are automatically racist, but black people who do bad things must be evaluated on a case by case basis. Even then he almost certainly would never determine a person of color to be racist. No matter what they said and did.
As a matter of evolutionary biology, we are all racists to some extent. Personally, i’m an extremely pragmatic person. The color of people’s skin means very little to me on any given day, but there certainly have been situations in which i was quite aware of my skin color compared to others in my presence. I have told race-based jokes, made off-color comments and held stereotypes against people, but i have never been an oppressor. To the extent that i am familiar with my family tree, i have not found oppressors or former slave owners anywhere in my ancestry.
In 2026 USA, i am far more likely to be labeled a racist because someone simply doesn’t like me or can’t factually counter a point that i’ve made. Modern leftists are notorious that way; resorting to name calling because they’re ill equipped to support their nonsense with empirical evidence and sound reasoning.

Racism means a number of different things. A cursory definition from the dictionary:

"Racism is the belief that different human groups possess distinct behavioral traits based on inherited attributes, often leading to the idea that one race is superior to others. It can also refer to prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against individuals because of their ethnic background."

There might very well be certain inherited attributes by race, but I can see it being more specific to certain to individuals than an entire race. Even with that, if there's science behind it in the end, I don't think that's a bad thing. However, I DO think it's a bad thing if you start believing in overall superiority simply based on race.

Am I racist? More than likely, for some of the definition, but definitely NOT for rest of the definition. I'm not superior to ANYONE of another race simply because I'm white and they're not. That's for maga's and their ilk throughout history.

Okay, I'll confront my sympathy to Confederates in my study of Civil War history.

Who would i have picked to win, if history were in my hands? The Union! How dare Confederates leave the nation and have slavery be a big cause of division! How dare they say the US is so ruined that they need to leave the union, that is an absolutely horrible thing to say to anyone.

You know what else? Those Confederates had a reason to fire on Fort Sumter and they fought like absolute legends even in the face of 2 to 1 odds.

These men who wore gray have earned my respect and honor. While I recognize that those who are African American hate those who wore gray as their victory would've meant it would take longer to end the horrible institution which held them as property and not people

I say this: I am happy that slavery is gone, but i will not dishonor fallen Confederate soldiers, those men fought to protect their family, not 1 out of 1,000 soldiers on either side gave a damn about slavery. It was abour reunification for the North and self preservation for the South. I am so, so, so sorry that the horrible institution of slavery ever existed, and I am sorry that both sides were not fighting to end it because the fighting spirit of Confederates combined with the noble cause of the Union soldiers could've eradicated all evil from this world. It does me horrible grief and sadness that they shot AT eachother, inatead of fighting together. I am happy that we're together now, may God bless the country you're now a full, 100% citizen of, God bless the USA, may God bless the victory of Union forces which led to the horrible chains which bound you to be broken forever🇺🇸

Not even a little bit.
Black people are no different than white people. Although I don't like ghetto culture. And some black people have a racist attitude toward whites just as some whites have a racist attitude toward blacks.

I also like other cultures. I've been very good friends with and had the highest respect for some blacks, Latinos, Filipinos, Thai, Koreans, Vietnamese, Chinese, Indians, Japanese, Afghans, Persians, Palestinians, Syrians, other Middle Easterners, Russians, and you name it. People are people, regardless of race, ethnicity or religion.

I think racism is ignorant.
I don't stereotype people. I assess them on an individual basis. Granted, some individuals are ass holes.

I'm not racist. I'm mixed and literally have pretty much every ethnicity in me. I wouldn't be alive with racism. But I do see patterns in people and certain races are more likely to have certain traits or qualities than others. And I do honestly think some cultures are better than others.

Do I think everyone of a certain race or culture is the same? Absolutely not. I have friends of all races. But I still generalize people based on my own observations. I think everyone does. Some are just more afraid to say it than others.

My ancestry is Hugonaut, Quaker Abolitionist, and Safe House supplier through the Civil War. The Safe House was in Cardington, Ohio a few miles from Cincinnati. However, I was raised in the South. I did what I had to do to survive and went along with southern society until I was 14 and started to resist. At this point I don't understand how the criteria is assigned.
