Not surprised, a lot of countries are sending a token force. Simple fact is one private would do because killing him would be a declaration of war on another Nato country. That's countless deaths on both sides and Trump knows most Americans don't want that, I'm pretty sure the military don't.

Truth is America has made it's ultimate threat and now either has to follow through or back down and look weak. Trumps put himself in an impossible corner hence all the recent childishness.

May I suggest giving Canada Alaska as part of the peace deal.

I don't think you really understand. All that would have to happen is for one Canadian soldier to be badly injured or killed for a major diplomatic crisis. That is the point of this.

I realize that the only thing you understand is violence, but yes, the Canadians will probably write a strongly worded letter, but they will also take economic steps, which will be detrimental to the U. S. and its allies - if there are any left. They have already done some of that, and they will do more.

When it starts costing you money, don't whine and scream about it here. You've had plenty of time to oppose this, and of course, you didn't.
