He went from writing this insane letter "demanding total control of Greenland" to giving up in less than 48 hours claiming he reached an agreement which was actually an agreement that was signed 75 years ago that gave the US and other NATO countries permission to build military bases in Greenland. He didn't meet with Denmark or Greenland when he made that announcement, he met with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte because no deal was needed for a NATO country to set up a military base in Greenland. The whole thing with Greenland makes Trump look like an idiot and destroyed any credibility he had left.

If what Donald trump is saying is true then why can’t the USA protect Greenland without Greenland becoming part of the USA?

You know there are other European countries sending troops to Greenland. They are helping Greenland without asking them to become part of their country.

Donald trump saying things like “China or Russia wants Greenland but Denmark cannot protect Greenland but the USA can so the Greenland should become part of the USA.”

I don't know and it is a shame. His "Big Success" he is now touting from this "deal" he made are all things we already had in a deal in 1951. You will see the right wingers try to claim the details are not finalized.

That means fuck all. In the end, we are not buying or invading the country (Thank God) so the best he is going to get is what we already had access to.
