when trump cuts government spending we hear a GIGANTIC fuss but contrast:
more than 150,000 TECH job- cuts occurd* in 2025 in waves. more than 150,000 jobs were cut across MORE THAN 540 companies, like 2024, when more than 150,000 tech jobs got cut, total more than 300,000 tech jobs cut for efficiency in just two years!

in January 2024, Google cut hundreds and hundreds of tech employees besides 100 from youtube and more in following months April June etc.

we can learn from this: certainly public funds like government spending needs more efficiency as trump did, a big fuss opposed trump so we see how wrong the opposition was. trump knows business and money. also same as microsoft did, thousands of cuts, same and more urgent for public fund cuts, for money for medicare and medicaid, so compared to those, most projects that seem worthwhile are less urgent, so should not get funding that would use up money! back to the example:

we don't even hear a peep about the tech collapsing losing 300,000! nor a fuss about layoffs for proofit but when trump does the same for goverbnent is more urgent to cut spending of public funds so why all the hate?

Remember a few years ago they were trying to push as many people into tech and coding as they could now those guys are being replaced by AI. Its sad, but if you work exclusively on the IT side chances are you are going to be out of a job in the next 10 years. If you can take your IT skills and learn a trade it might work out well for you. For instance in vehicle mechanics, with all those evs out there traditional mechanics are going to struggle to work on them.
